Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry supports students in grades 6–12 as they grow in faith, friendship, and service. We seek to create a welcoming and inclusive community where youth can explore their faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out Christ’s love in the world.
Youth can connect through Confirmation, choirs, fellowship events, service opportunities, and mission trips throughout the year.
Upcoming Events
Students in grades 7–12 are invited to join Pastor Megan for Bibles and Bagels once a month during the 10:00 a.m. service (September–May).
Youth begin in worship and then move to the Youth Room for Bible discussion, activities, and a snack. Dates are announced in the church eNewsletter, Happenings.
Our Confirmation Program runs from September through May and helps students explore Christian beliefs, the United Methodist tradition, and their personal faith.
The program includes:
- Weekly classes
- Worship participation
- Adult mentors
- Service opportunities
- Retreat experiences
Students celebrate their confirmation during a special worship service in May.

Youth are invited to share their musical gifts by joining one of our choirs. Choirs are a great way to build friendships, grow in faith, and participate in worship.
- Connection Choir – for junior high students
- Chapel Choir – for high school students
New members are always welcome, and youth can join at any time during the year. Contact Nick Loos, our youth choir director or the church office at 630.968.7120.
