At Downers Grove First United Methodist Church, confirmation is a two-year process for 7th and 8th graders (though we are happy to work with older youth, if they were unable to participate in those grades) in which we explore scripture and faith. Our goal is to help confirmation students name and claim a sense of values and beliefs for themselves and grow in understanding of God and the church.

Pastor Megan invites first-year students, parents, and caregivers to come to one of the Confirmation Class Information Meetings to learn about expectations and plans for the year, including an overview of the curriculum, schedules, and expectations.
