The Chancel Choir begins rehearsals for this year on September 17 and invites new singers to join us. If you can “carry a tune” and love to sing, we welcome you! Fall is a great time to start singing!
This adult choir meets for rehearsals on Thursday evenings from September through May. The Chancel Choir sings each Sunday for our 10:00 a.m. worship service and for seasonal special events. We have some fun social events built into the schedule, too!
Our Chancel Choir is directed by Diane Hires, who served as administrator, fine arts department chair, and choral director at Downers Grove High Schools during her 37-year career and served as music director for many high school and community theatre musicals. Mo Xu, an accomplished pianist, is the collaborative pianist.

The Music Ministry of our church provides members and friends with the opportunity to enjoy fellowship and serve through choir participation. Our choirs are open to all - you are invited to join at any time throughout the year.
