Getting the Camp Ready for Camp

The second annual All Church Mission Trip will provide a wonderful opportunity to put your faith into action at the Wesley Woods Retreat Center. The camp buildings and grounds need fixing up right before our summer campers arrive! Many hands are needed in this beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Geneva, WI. Come for a few hours, a day, or as many days as you can. There are jobs for everyone, regardless of skill level or expertise. Tasks may include painting and staining; replacing lights; repairing wood siding, railings, windows, roofs, and steps; cleaning cabins; and repairing or replacing trails and paths. All tools, supplies, and meals are provided.

Parents and youth are invited to informational meetings on either April 25 & 29, where we will provide updates on mission trips, fundraising and summer events.
There will be a chance to register for these activities, Including sign-ups for the Tent Program.
Our Senior High group is going on it's annual Mission Trip. This year we are going to Red Lake Reservation, Minnesota, through Group Workcamps. At Workcamps, teenagers come together to serve individuals and communities while building strong, long-lasting relationships with their friends and youth leaders. In six short days, hundreds of teenagers from youth groups across the country repair and transform homes while growing closer to Jesus.

Our annual trip to United Church of Rogers Park for youth entering grades 7 in the Fall through graduating seniors. We will be helping with the Kids Club.

The Ignite Youth Group is selling stock for this year’s Mission Trips. Stock is $10 and comes with an invitation to our Mission Trip Thank You Ice Cream Social on August 6, after the 10am Service in the Gym.
Stock is available for purchase in the parlor every Sunday morning through July 16 and in the church office throughout the week.

Teenagers learn Christ-like empathy and compassion as they meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of disadvantaged children, youth, and adults. Five days of service. A lifetime of rewards.
Scholarships are available. Participation in Car Washes, Pancake Breakfast and the In-Tent Ministry can drastically off-set the cost. Trip will include a couple excursions to be determined later.
