DESCRIPTION:Join the Conversation! Hope can be hard to come by sometimes.
According to Walter Brueggermann\, pastor and noted scholar\, God has prov
ided a way. Everyone is welcome as we consider the practice of Sabbath as
a means of restoration\, resistance\, and remembrance that God is with us\
, and for us. \nThis group will be reading and discussing the book Sabbat
h as Resistance: Saying No to the Culture of Now by Walter Brueggemann\, a
nd available on Amazon or other booksellers. Any edition will be fine. \n
Rev. Mary Zajac will be facilitating the conversation about this book. Sig
n up by email here. (Sign-up is optional\, but appreciated!) or just come!
