Come experience the Wesleyan way as we learn about our foundational spiritual practices and beliefs. We’ll meet on Thursday evenings through March 21 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in Room 213. (We’ll be done in time for Chancel Choir practice!)
As a Methodist church, we are part of a global Christian community with almost 300 years of history. Our practices and faith understanding are based on the work of John Wesley who was one of the key leaders of the early Methodist movement. There’s something transformative about the Wesleyan approach to the Christian faith. When he began his work there were four people called Methodist. Fifty years later there were 135,000 Methodists and more than 500 preachers. Today, there are many millions of Methodists all around the world. Learn more in this study.
To guide the discussion, the group will use a short book – A Blueprint for Discipleship: Wesley’s General Rules as a Guide for Christian Living by Kevin Watson. The book is available on Amazon by clicking here. To sign up or ask questions, please email Rev. Mary Zajac at maryzajac12@gmail.com.
