Chancel Choir Spring Cantata
Jubilate Deo
Sunday, May 7, 10:00am
On Sunday, May 7, the 10:00am worship will be a special performance of Jubilate Deo by Dan Forrest. Directed by Diane Hires, the choir will join with a 16-piece guest orchestra to present a stunning global celebration of joy, as all the earth sings as one, "All the earth, Rejoice!"
Dan Forrest's cantata is a setting of Psalm 100 in seven different languages, with musical styles representing the global diversity of people and cultures. It is a celebration of joy, inviting all the earth to sing together as one. The performance will be illustrated by videos showing how different cultures celebrate all of God's creation.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for this musical offering sure to lift our spirits!
