While traditionally confirmation happens in middle school or junior high, there is no wrong time to study Scripture, grapple with faith, and explore how God is calling us to live out our faith in our everyday lives. In the United Methodist Church, confirmation is a public declaration of faith. It is when we offer our commitment to our faith journey, to God, and to the church. As adults, we're going to refresh our faith journey through Confirmation 2.0 Class.

Topic for October 5 Class

Did you know Methodists have a method for studying scripture called the Wesleyan Quadrilateral? In this class, we’ll learn some basics about biblical study and interpretation and then we’ll use the Wesleyan Quadrilateral to explore what we might learn from the Bible about modern topics of our time.

Join us for this monthly class that teaches some basics about Methodist history, politics, and theology. Pastor Anna will cover a different topic each month from United Methodist history to the sacraments to our theology of grace. Whether you come for one class or all, there is space for you! All are welcome.
