Adult Confirmation 2.0 Class: Refresh Your Faith Journey

While traditionally confirmation happens in middle school or junior high, there is no wrong time to study Scripture, grapple with faith, and explore how God is calling us to live out our faith in our everyday lives. In the United Methodist Church, confirmation is a public declaration of faith. It is when we offer our commitment to our faith journey, to God, and to the church. As adults, we're going to refresh our faith journey through Confirmation 2.0 Class.

Join us for this monthly class that teaches some basics about Methodist history, politics, and theology. Pastor Anna will cover a different topic each month from United Methodist history to the sacraments to our theology of grace. Whether you come for one class or all, there is space for you! All are welcome.

Topic for November 9 Class

This past year we've celebrated many baptisms! Each time, we sprinkle the person with water, anoint them with oil, and as a church we pray the baptismal liturgy together. What does it mean though? Join us for this class as we explore a Methodist understanding of baptism. Whether you've been to the two other classes of Adult Confirmation 2.0 or none, know that you are welcome to join us!
